In 2013, there was no Yelp like platform in Australia. The client wanted to create a Yelp like restaurant and review platform for Australia.
A platform where users can search restaurants & dishes and see their reviews and filter them by rating, distance, etc. A special feature in the platform was that foodies, food reviewers and critics could follow each other just like they can do in Facebook and Twitter. Thereafter their reviews, likes, etc. all show up as items on the walls of their followers. Restaurant owners could also login and create their menus, offers, etc.
Results
The platform was built and onboarded tens and thousands of restaurants were on boarded and the platform gained a lot of traction and news.
